Prevent bushfires

During the 2019-2020 season, known as "Black Summer", Australia experienced one of the largest natural disasters in history with nearly 15 million acres destroyed in last year’s bushfires.

On top of this, deforestation and excessive land clearing continues to be the major cause of death and habitat loss for our native wildlife. Australia has cleared nearly 40% of its forest cover, and has one of the highest deforestation rates in the world.

Tree planting is crucial to combat deforestation, excessive land clearing and reduce the impact of bushfires. Our native forests, wildlife and future generations depend on it!

OHMINME is proud to be planting trees with every order since 2019! Thanks to our amazing customers, we have planted hundreds of trees in Australian reforestation projects.

We have partnered with One Tree Planted - a non-profit environmental charity who run large-scale reforestation projects. One Tree Planted have a number of reforestation projects across Australia. Our funding goes to their general Australian fund and is split between these projects, wherever the need is the greatest.

The tree planting projects include bushfire recovery nurseries, creating habitat corridors for koalas in New South Wales and Victoria, enhancing biodiversity in Western Australia, and promoting sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices with landowners.
